Purchase the number of Goodbye Bag(s) you need, starting at $19. We’ll drop it off at your door within one business day. Then you can fill them up based on your schedule, with everything from last season’s clothes to unused electronics and more.

Text Us.

Once your Goodbye Bags are filled, simply text us and we’ll schedule a pickup time that works for you. You can leave your bag(s) on your doorstep or with your doorman, and our farewell fleet will pick them up.

Your Goodbye Bag(s) and any additional items we pick up go to our warehouse, where an Adios team member sorts through them to find the best path for each—we prioritize reuse, first. Focusing on rehoming items through resale or donation to local Austin non-profits.

Get Updates on Impact.

Over the next 30 days, we’ll focus on finding the highest and best use for each item you’ve said goodbye to, focusing on reuse, repurposing, or recycling items through local partners. If anything sells over a certain threshold, you’ll get 50% of the profit.

FAQs

  • You get 50% of any profits from items we resell for over $50 USD. We cover photography, listings, messaging back‑and‑forth with buyers, storing your stuff until it sells, plus transport and delivery to new owners. You just sit back and relax—typical pay outs happen monthly. Items which do not sell within 30 days are automatically donated.

  • Right now, we’re only available in Austin, Texas. We like starting small, working with local non‑profits, and keeping things personal. Want Adios in your city? Let us know.

  • Once your items are picked up, you don’t have to worry about them! That means: you waive ownership of anything given to us, we make the final call on resale vs. donation vs. disposal, and you’ll always get an update—and a payout, if applicable.

  • Choose your plan, fill each Adios bag with up to 50 lbs of items, text us to schedule pickup, and leave your bag outside. We handle everything from there—including resale, donation, or recycling—and share any profits with you.

  • From oddly shaped furniture to dead houseplants or bulky electronics? After you choose your plan, snap a picture and SMS it to your Adios Concierge—we’ll give you an upfront quote on what any add‑ons will cost based on weight and effort.
